We use Slack on a daily basis at SumoMe, it’s the communication hub for everything we do. Think of it like a messaging app on steroids, with more capability and integrations than you may need (but are fun to play with).
Slack has mainly existed as a communication app for teams, but lately it has been gaining traction as community tool. Nat Eliason was an early proponent of this, using Slack as the community space for his course on technical marketing. At SumoMe, we used Slack for our Traffic1m course, and it’s grown to 6000+ members!
What I am going to do (and why you’re here) is use Slack to create a mastermind group. I’ll show you (with videos and screencasts) exactly how to set everything up, the email scripts you can use to reach out to members, and ways to engage your new community.
